At District 135, safety is part of our mission. Our vision statement says that every student, staff member and parent has the right to a safe school environment. A safe school promotes an atmosphere of mutual respect which honors diversity and integrity; fosters personal responsibility while respecting the rights of others; and creates an environment free from harassment.
VoiceREACH - CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP!
VoiceREACH is an automated voice messaging service that makes calls to thousands of homes within minutes in case of any district-wide or school-specific emergency. This is how VoiceREACH works:
-
Parents complete the form available here on our website in the beginning of the school year.
-
The information from the forms is compiled into a database.
-
The database is sent to the VoiceREACH provider.
-
If there is an emergency, Superintendent Dennis Soustek will call the provider and leave a recorded message.
-
The provider's system will then call every applicable number in the database and play the recorded message. If no one picks up, the system leaves the message on the answering machine.

Sex Offenders
