District 135 is encouraging all students to participate in the 30th Annual Orland Open Spelling Bee, which will be held on Sunday, October 5 at 2:00 p.m. at the Orland Park Civic Center, located at 14750 Ravinia Avenue. The Bee is open to participants of all ages. In the 2007 competition, District 135 students made up 3 of the top 10 spellers. Click on this article title for official information.

New Students: Please Register Now!

Parents who live within the District 135 boundaries and wish to enroll their child for the 2008-09 school year should come to the Registration Office as soon as possible. Office Hours are 8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday. Click on this article's title to view the items parents need to bring. Please note that it is never too late to register. VoiceREACH Sign Up Online for 08-09

Families who wish to sign up for the VoiceREACH automatic messaging system should do so through our website. Click on "Safe Schools" at right. The VoiceREACH system makes calls to thousands of homes within minutes in case of any district-wide or school-specific emergency or inclement weather situation. The system does not roll over, and so parents must sign up for this service each year.
